Please read these terms and conditions carefully before engaging our services.

Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Nextgen Tech Solutions (“Nextgen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) ABN: 84 679 243 997. By engaging our services, you (“the customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by the following terms. These terms are in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which prevail in the event of any conflict.

No Fix, No Fee Guarantee

If we are unable to resolve your technical issue or offer a suitable solution, no service fee will be charged—excluding diagnostic services for data recovery or complex hardware issues.

  • If a fix involves a recommendation to upgrade or replace hardware/software, this advice is considered a valid solution. In such cases, our time and advice will be chargeable even if you choose not to proceed.
  • Exclusions: Assessments for data recovery and internal hardware repairs carry a non-refundable diagnostic fee, as some issues may be beyond repair or uneconomical to fix.

14-Day Labour Guarantee

All labour performed by our technicians is covered by a 14-day service warranty. This guarantee only covers the work as outlined on your invoice.

  • You must give us a fair chance to re-attend and rectify any issues before seeking assistance from another service provider.
  • If the issue is determined to be unrelated to our original work, a new service charge will apply.

Warranty Coverage

12-Month Warranty – Assembled Systems

Hardware assembled and supplied by us carries a 1-year warranty unless otherwise stated. Any warranty seals must be intact for claims to be valid. Damage due to software, operating systems, viruses, or malware is not covered.

3-Month Warranty – Hardware Repairs

Hardware parts installed by Nextgen come with a standard 3-month warranty. You may request an extended warranty at additional cost at the time of purchase.

No Warranty – Data Loss

Data loss can occur during repair or upgrade processes. While we take care to preserve your data, we offer no warranty for any loss. Customers are strongly advised to back up important files prior to service. Data backup services can be arranged at additional cost.

Other Expenses

Shipping or courier costs, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Refunds & Returns

  • Refunds on goods may incur a 15% restocking fee.
  • Refunds are only available within 14 days of purchase and require the product to be in original, unused, resellable condition with full packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  • No refunds on consumables or opened software unless covered under ACL or manufacturer’s policy.

Payment Terms

All services and products must be paid in full on completion unless prior written arrangements have been made. Payment methods accepted include cash, EFT, card, and BPAY. Invoices not paid within 14 days may be referred to debt collection agencies.

Debt Recovery

Failure to pay an invoice within the required timeframe may result in your details being handed to a third-party debt recovery agent. Additional fees incurred through this process may be added to your outstanding balance.

Privacy & Confidentiality

We value your privacy. Your personal information will not be shared or discussed with anyone without your express written consent. Authorisation must include your full name, contact details, and signature.

Same-Day Service

While we strive to offer same-day service, availability is dependent on booking before 10:00 AM and technician availability. Some services may require multiple visits or offsite repairs.

Parking & Additional Charges

Any costs incurred (e.g., paid parking in CBD areas) to provide our service will be added to your invoice. We recommend providing clear parking instructions in advance to avoid delays and additional charges.

Onsite Service Conditions

  • All technicians undergo background checks for your peace of mind.
  • An adult (18+) must be present at the premises throughout the service.
  • You must have authority to request services at the location.
  • Technicians must be granted timely access to the site and equipment. Delays caused by inaccessibility may incur charges.
  • Worksites must be safe and hazard-free. Technicians may refuse service if unsafe conditions are encountered.
